This course gives the student verbal and nonverbal tools with which to handle confrontational exchanges with agitated people. Members of your staff who complete this course will possess an increased ability to de-escalate hostile confrontations when they are faced with them. This course will offer practical advice regarding environment, demeanor, attitude, speech and limitations to be considered when dealing with these types of situations. The student will also feel more self confident in handling such situations with the understanding of how they develop and how they can get out of control. They will also learn to prevent the incident from becoming personal and therefore more emotionally charged.
